SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

This is the process of increasing the number of visitors to a particular website by getting a high-ranking placement on search engines, consisting of Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. SEO refers to the improvement of free natural and organic results on the search engines.

Optimizing Content

This is a process in which the contents of a web page will be optimized to become more useful, attractive and practical to users. The process includes using associated keywords, adding meta and title tags, and relevant links.


When an advertisement of digital media is displayed on a user’s screen. They use impressions to measure the number of times of seeing the advertisement by users. Each time an ad is shown, it is counted as one impression. CPM (Cost per mile) campaigns are ideal for businesses intent on spreading brand awareness.

CTR (Click-Through-Rate)

This is the ratio of the number of times of clicks on a specific ad on the total number of its impressions. Through this metric, advertisers can measure the success of an online campaign for their website.

(Total Clicks on Ad) / (Total Impressions) = CTR

CR (Conversion Rate)

The conversion rate measure ratio of the number of visitors who take desired actions to your website on the total number of visitors. A conversion doesn’t necessarily have to be a sale or transaction, but could also include successful downloads or sign-ups.

Ad Space

The area of a web page available for advertisements. Based on the placement and ad format and website traffic, publishers will recommend different prices for these spaces.

Banner Ads

Banner ads are a common form of online display advertising. They are delivered to web pages by an ad server or ad network. Banner ads are the rectangular or square graphic banners that stretch horizontally or vertically across the top, bottom, or sides of a website or digital media property.

Frequency Capping

It signifies that restricting (capping) the number of times (frequency) of a particular advertisement shown to a specific visitor when they visit a website. This restriction is commonly applied to all websites, it allows brands to limit the maximum number of impressions a visitor can see in a certain time.

GEO Targeting

This is a method of determining the geolocation of a website visitor and delivering contents or advertisements based on their location. The method goal is to improve the cost-effectiveness of marketing programs by serving relevant content to specific areas.


The ads that audiences have known and researched about but they don’t have buying intention at the time. Retargeting allows marketers to remind of this product and encourage the audience to buy it.

ROI (Return on Investment)

A performance measure used to evaluate the efficiency of an investment or compare the efficiency of several different investments.

 (Gain from Investment – Cost of Investment) / Cost of Investment = ROI

Social Media

Forms of electronic communication that facilitate the creation or sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks


They are someone who manages one or more websites. Their works vary in different organizations, including web designers, web developers, site authors, website administrators, and website owners.

Landing Pages

Web pages that a person is taken to after clicking an ad. Landing pages are separate from your website and are designed to only receive campaign traffic.

Email Marketing

This is the commerce messages that are sent directly to the customer list through email. The businesses often use the way to promote new products or services to potential or current customers. Besides, the purpose of sending these messages is to enhance a partnership and encourage customer’s loyalty.
